THE FATS

 

COVERALL - Add fat to soften the animal.  80% fat.  This will make hog SOFT.  Move them up on COVERALL slowerly.  Starting at 1/4 to 1/2 pound per day.  Can Take up to 1 1/2 pounds per day, but too much; animals will back off feed.

GOLD COTE - A refined corn oil flavored with cherry.  This will soften hogs immensely but cannot feed too much because of feed refusal.  Recommended to not use more than 1/4 per pound per day.  Great to use in grind and mix diets.

UNI4M - A oil based energy supplement.  50% fat with sugars added.  This oil based product is used to "stick" feeds together and it also does a tremendous job of filling in the "rough" spots such as pinched ham/loin junctures, hogs soft at the blades, and making hard topped hogs soft without giving up some evidence of shape.
 
OMEGABLUME - A fiber/fat feed that has omega 3 fatty acids in it with flax seed oil contributing to the fat level.  OMEGABLUME (you can use OMEGATIN instead; unless you are feeding sheep) is outstanding for building power and volume but must be fed over a long period of time.  You will need to feed it at least 30 to 40 days with a 1/2 to 1 pound level per day.  Makes cattle hair and skin quality outstanding; softens total body on hogs but keeps them bold and builds power. 

BARROWMILK - A milk whey based fat supplement.  30% fat so softening on a hog takes awhile.  This product uniquely helps create flank drop and softness in the lower body of the hog.  This does not feed like a true milk replacer because of the whey concentration.  The fat goes to the lower third while the whey protein helps to build boldness and muscle mass.

 

THE APPETITE ENHANCERS

 

DOUBLE DIP - A brand new product that makes hogs eat like crazy.  Add as a dry supplement or in a liquid slop and watch them eat!!  Feed at any time and you will be amazed!

BELLY BUSTER - Another brand new product from Essential.  This product is loaded with yeast and pro biotic compounds to help get animals back on the feed.  The smell of this product is enticing but the ingredients also stimulate feed intake.  Feed this product when animals go off feed OR are under stress.

 

THE FIBER BODY DEVELOPERS

 

WIDE OPEN - A body builder that helps to build the hogs center body while building mass over the top.  Feed in lower amounts of about 1/4 to 1/2 pound twice per day; starting when young and building to larger amounts.  This product works very well with OMEGABLUME feeding both at about 1/2 pound twice a day.  Blows hogs apart, softens center body, and makes hogs' top massive.

CRUISE CONTROL - The very best center body building product on the market.  This product can be used in building center body on young pigs fed at low rates but this product is tremendous in holding body in hogs that you are managing weight.  When using for maintaining hogs weights, you need 1/2 pound to 1 1/2 pound per head per day depending on the weight you want the hog to gain. 

X-PAND-O - This is another product that is tremendous in "building fullness of flank" on all species of animals.  Read the tag for appropriate species feeding rates but this product drops flank in animals better than any product on the market.

 

MOVEMENT IMPROVEMENT SUPPLEMENTS

 

EQUEX - A liquid supplement for the joints to help movement of the joints and reduce some swelling.  Feed at rate on directions.

POSITRAC - A supplement to help relax ligaments and muscle for better movement.  Feed at rates on directions.

STROLLIN - A pelleted product that has both Equex and Positrac in it.  A must have when feeding pigs on Paylean.  Great product to use that is a combination of two good products.  Improvement using this product can visually be seen in a very short time.

 

PRODUCTS FOR GOAT AND SHEEP

 

WETHER TOP - A body builder for mass and dimension on whether boar goats.  This is a must have product as it builds body on goats like no other.

NUTRATEC - The same type product as Wether Top except for does.

BODYBUILDER - The same type product as Wether Top except for sheep; NO COPPER.

 

THE OTHER "MUST HAVE"PRODUCTS

 

OVERDRIVE - The Paylean supplement for hogs.  DO NOT FEED TO SHEEP OR GOATS.  Feed at 2 ounces for 9 grams.  Extra biotin added for hoof help.  Flavorized enhanced to make it more acceptable to gain consistent intakes.

GLISTEN - A non-oil based liquid spray on product for skin and hair.  Tremendous shine without the mess of oils.

EXPRESSO - A great supplement to use on a 45 day feeding cycle to build body mass and muscle.  It is a liquid product that can be applied directly to the feed.  MUST FEED FOR 45 DAYS TO GET RESULTS.

KEEP N ON - A show day supplement to give to animals that are being weight managed.  BLOW THEM APART...GREAT PRODUCT AND A DEFINATE MUST HAVE!  Feed one bottle 72 hours before show, then again 48 hours out.  24 hours before show give one bottle at full concentration and do that the day of the show, 1 hour before, and just before they go into show ring.  Give them the "FULL LOOK" as it maximizes hydration of muscles.

HANGTIME - My personal favorite to manage weight while keeping hogs with muscle bloom.  Fed as a gruel or slop to pigs you are managing weight.  Mike Speaker should be consulted when wanting to feed this to a hog to manage weight.
